Fall has finally come to town, and as I'm contemplating how much work it will be to get all my cold-weather clothes down from their boxes in the top of my tiny closet, I turn instead to my computer, which never threatens me with piles of wrinkled sweaters falling on my head. So much easier!
Today's palette is inspired by fall colors, but I'm not a huge fan of orange and brown, so instead, I've found some lovely pinks, roses, and chocolates to show you. This would make a great palette for a sitting room, or an inspiring tablescape for a country dining room.
Remember, whether you're designing a room, a piece of art, or a crafty decoration for the season, keep in mind your triad of values: light, medium, and dark. In this case, I'd recommend a neutral such as Desert Fortress, with highlights of Semi-Precious, and grounded with Gardener's Soil. (All Valspar Colors)
